Monthly Coaching

What you get:

  • 1.5 hour in-person session once a month

  • Email support in between sessions

  • A longer term plan to work on growth areas identified in the assessment

  • We work through the various climbing skills together, especially focusing on those aspects you find difficult to make progress on by yourself

  • Practice suggestions or action points for each month

What happens if…

  • Please let me know as soon as you know that you have to cancel. Below is my usual cancellation policy.

    More than 24 hours notice:

    Options:

    1. Reschedule to another in-person session in the same month

    2. Switch to video call

    3. Consider it a missed session, we meet the following month instead. Payment will not be taken the following month.

    Less than 24 hours notice:

    Reschedule to another in-person session in the same month. If this is not possible, we will meet next month instead. There will be no payment adjustments.

  • I try not to cancel unless absolutely necessary, and will give as much advance notice as I can. In this event, we will:

    1. Reschedule to another in-person session in the same month

    2. Switch to video call

    3. Consider it a missed session, we meet the following month instead. Payment will not be taken the following month.

  • Sometimes we are busy at the same time! In these cases, we can:

    1. Switch to video call, or

    2. Consider it a missed session, we meet the following month instead. Payment will not be taken the following month.

  • We can do all the bits in our usual in-person session where we are chatting, including

    • Planning your month ahead

    • Building consistency

    • Strategy for your trips or goals

    • Discussions around mindset

    If you have videos of yourself climbing, we can also do video analysis and discuss your movement.

  • These things happen, I completely understand. I can support you to get back to climbing with regular check-ins if this is something that you would like:

    1. Off-season Remote Coaching

      • Half the price of Monthly Coaching

      • Regular check ins to keep you on track to getting back to climbing regularly. Choose between:

        1. 20 min video call every fortnight

        2. 10 min video call every week

        3. Text or email check-in every week

    If you think it will be better to take time out of coaching, we can instead:

    1. Pause coaching for a few months, or

    2. Conclude coaching journey for now

  • Very exciting! I can support you on the trip with video analysis and planning if you would like:

    1. Trip support

      • Up to 45 min video call + Text support (Half price)

      • Up to 1.5 hours video call + Text support (No price adjustment)

    If you would prefer to have time out from coaching, we can also pause coaching for the period of the trip.

  • We can do our session at another wall that I coach at instead. There will be no price adjustment.

  • We can do this as long as there is space in the schedule. Top up payment will be added on the direct debit.

  • I will aim to give you at least 1 month’s notice before I go away for long periods. Coaching will be on pause when I am away unless otherwise arranged. No payments will be taken during this time.

  • I will aim to reach out within a month if we do not have anything arranged. If there continues to be a lapse in communication, I will pause the direct debit after 2 months of absence and consider it as a pause.

  • I will email you every now and again to see where we are at. No payments are taken during a pause.

  • Thanks for sharing a part of your climbing journey with me! We’ll review our time together on the last session, or on a video call if there is no session booked in. The direct debit will be cancelled from the next month onwards.
