Hello! I’m Xian.
I’m a climber, coach and writer.
I started climbing as a teenager and grew up with it. Climbing helped me discover who I was and shape who I wanted to be.
It was one small decision at a time - choosing to step on to an intimidating climb, keeping the faith on a thin foothold, willing myself to keep moving through the burning pump, feeling the apprehension and going for it anyway.
My ambition forced me to face up to my failures and take responsibility for my potential. For me, climbing has been a gift and I continue to work in this space to give back to the climbing community.
